Biography

Hi! My name is Antti 'Andy' Lyytikäinen. I'm the moderator of this website since 2008. I have worked over two decades in reliability engineering and risk management and I'm currently Manager and Senior consultant at AL Safety Design Ltd. 

Before joining my current job at AL Safety Design Ltd., I have worked with the following companies and entities:

• Ekono Inc., Seattle. Reliability Engineering Manager (1991)
• Autopros Ltd. Reliability and Risk Analysis Consultant (1990)
• VTT (Technical Research Center of Finland). Senior Research Scientist, Reliability Engineering (1984-1990).

Professional Affiliations

My current and past professional affiliations include: Editorial board of the Maintenance Magazine 'Promaint'. VP of the Finnish Space Research Society. Member of the Managerial Board of the European Reliability Data Bank Association (EuReDatA). Chairman of the Finnish Environmental Engineering Society SEEF.

Interests

Family, gardening, Suzuki 'Burger', music, free entrepreneurship.
